Immutable Axes Game Development Team as AI-Powered Platform Takes Center Stage
Sydney-based Immutable is undergoing significant changes in its game development operations. The company has removed 29 roles from its game development teams and will retain only a small in-house games group.
This move reflects a broader shift towards an AI-driven marketing platform for game publishers, as the company prioritizes its Audience product. This platform aims to help traditional and blockchain-based game publishers improve player growth through identity tools, attribution, and campaign measurement.
Immutable's Audience platform has already seen success with Ubisoft's Might & Magic: Fates, which achieved a 10.2% pre-registration-to-download conversion rate using the system.
