ARK Invest Rebalances Portfolio with Significant Buys and Sells
ARK Invest has made significant changes to its portfolio, selling shares of chip giants Taiwan Semiconductor and Advanced Micro Devices while buying into crypto exchange Bullish and Cerebras Systems. The firm's actively managed exchange-traded funds have been rebalanced over the past two days, with ARK purchasing 164,000 shares of Bullish across three ETFs.
The company also increased its stake in Twist Bioscience, buying 105,810 shares for its flagship ARK Innovation ETF. This is the largest single-stock buy by share count across the two days. Meanwhile, ARK sold 2,131 shares of Taiwan Semiconductor and 1,859 shares of Advanced Micro Devices from the ARKW fund.
ARK's move into Cerebras Systems marks a significant bet on Nvidia rival. The firm purchased 38,646 shares for ARKK and 3,480 shares for ARKW. This is the first major investment in Cerebras by ARK Invest. The company's move into Bullish also reinforces its long-standing thesis on digital asset infrastructure and exchanges.
