Crypto Executive Breaks into Fortune Power List as Digital Asset Sector Gains Mainstream Recognition
The annual Fortune Power List has traditionally recognized leaders from legacy tech firms and financial institutions. This year, however, marks a significant shift as the digital asset sector makes its debut.
Binance's Yi He, Co-CEO, is the first crypto-native executive to break into this exclusive group of powerful women in business. The recognition is not just about the company's massive trading volume, $34 trillion processed in 2025 and 41% global spot market share, but also its impact on underserved populations.
Yi He emphasized that 'the trust of 310 million people who use Binance' is what matters most. This includes individuals like a son sending wages home to his mother in Nairobi or a woman opening her first account at fifty in a small Indian city.
The Fortune Power List's expansion into the digital asset sector reflects the growing influence of blockchain technology and decentralized finance (DeFi). The list now includes leaders from 94 companies across 20 countries, collectively representing $7.3 trillion in annual revenue and 11.8 million employees.
