A joint effort between local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies has led to the seizure of a significant amount of illicit substances in Arizona. The crackdown, known as Operation Mechanic, aimed to disrupt organized crime networks trafficking drugs through the state.
According to officials, nearly 2,000 pounds of various drugs were seized, including methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, and pills. Authorities also confiscated firearms, vehicles, cash, and cryptocurrency. A total of 33 individuals were arrested in connection with the operation.
