Bitcoin Surges Past $66,000, Kimchi Premium in Negative Territory
Bitcoin (BTC) experienced a brief surge, climbing back above $66,000. On June 15, BTC was trading at $65,967 on Binance's USDT market, marking a 2.5% increase from the previous day.
The kimchi premium, which measures the difference in price between South Korean exchanges and global markets, stood at -0.91% for major cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin. This suggests that South Korean investors are not paying a significant premium to buy BTC.
