Shibarium Network Sees Minimal Activity Amid Ongoing Recovery

Shibarium, the layer 2 blockchain of Shiba Inu, has experienced a relatively quiet period in terms of transaction activity. According to recent data, the network processed a total of 1,002 transactions over the past day, resulting in minimal fees of $0.0017. This suggests that while some activity is present, it has yet to translate into meaningful economic throughput.

The network fees for Shibarium have also remained low, coming in at 0.03 BONE, or approximately $0.0017, over the past day. A closer look at recent transactions on Shibariumscan reveals that most of these transactions are system-level and represent automated contract calls supporting Shibarium's new infrastructure.

This comes as the Shibarium explorer is currently seeking to normalize its data after a network reset. To achieve this, Shibarium re-indexed its entire chain in order to improve network capacity.
