Crypto markets have faced an extended period of selling pressure, with Bitcoin approaching its lowest price since before US President Donald Trump's reelection.
As of 11:20 am in New York, Bitcoin was trading at around $60,800, having recovered from earlier lows. This marks the sixth straight day of declines for Bitcoin, its longest losing streak since August.
Smaller tokens such as Ether have been faring even worse, with a decline of over 10%.
