Bitcoin Treasuries Suffer Heavy Losses Amid Market Downturn
The cryptocurrency market has been under pressure lately, with Bitcoin's value declining by over 40% since its peak in 2025.
This sharp decline has had a significant impact on institutional investors who have heavy holdings in Bitcoin. Nakamoto Inc., one of the largest such investors, has seen its losses balloon to $224 million, marking a record for the company.
The overall value of Bitcoin treasuries has decreased from $124 billion to $90 billion, prompting some investors to sell off their assets in an attempt to cut their losses. This trend suggests that the market pressure may continue and potentially lead to further sell-offs by major holders.
