Voter Skepticism on Crypto and AI Fuels Policy Debate Ahead of Midterms
A growing sense of unease among American voters is putting pressure on policymakers to reassess their stance on cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence (AI). According to a recent survey conducted by Politico and Public First, the public remains unconvinced about the benefits or risks associated with these technologies.
The poll found that 47% of Americans prefer traditional banks over crypto platforms, while only 17% express trust comparable to banks in crypto services. Meanwhile, 43% believe AI's risks outweigh its benefits, with just 33% seeing the opposite.
