SecondFi to Refund $2.4M in Stolen Cardano Funds This July

A Cardano wallet exploit has led to the recovery of millions in ADA, with SecondFi announcing plans to return approximately 16 million ADA to affected users in July.

The incident occurred between June 21 and June 23, when attackers exploited a vulnerability in SecondFi's wallet-generation software, compromising around 374 wallet addresses.

SecondFi emphasized that the Cardano blockchain itself was not affected by the exploit, but rather the weakness existed within the wallet-generation process.
