Bitcoin Leads as Real-World Asset Tokens Gain Attention in July 2026
The second half of 2026 saw Bitcoin still leading by value, and stablecoins continuing to play major settlement roles across exchanges, blockchains, and trading platforms.
Real-world asset tokens gained stronger attention during this period, with tokenized funds, gold, credit, and securities moving deeper into blockchain markets as investors tracked traditional assets on-chain.
CoinGecko's RWA category placed Figure Heloc, Stellar, Chainlink, Circle USYC, Tether Gold, BlackRock BUIDL, Ondo USDY, PAX Gold, Ondo, and Quant among the largest RWA-linked assets by market cap. Figure Heloc ranked first in CoinGecko's RWA list with a market cap of about $19.73 billion.
Stellar ranked second with a market cap near $6.93 billion, while Chainlink was third with a market cap near $5.95 billion. Circle USYC and Tether Gold followed closely behind in the top five rankings.
