Pakistan Seeks Industry Input for Virtual Assets Regulation
The Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (PVARA) has made significant strides towards regulating the country's emerging cryptocurrency and virtual assets market.
As part of this effort, PVARA has established a consultative group comprising industry leaders to help shape the upcoming regulatory structure. The group will work closely with PVARA to design policies that address licensing, legal clarity, and investor protection while also encouraging innovation in the sector.
The regulator aims to establish a framework that ensures market security and safeguards public interest, while also enabling growth in digital financial services.
