BitMine Expands Ethereum Holdings Amid Global Economic Uncertainty

BitMine Immersion Technologies, a prominent cryptocurrency investment firm, has made a substantial purchase of Ethereum tokens, marking its largest weekly acquisition of the year. The company acquired 60,999 ETH, bringing its total holdings to approximately 4.6 million ETH, which represents roughly 3.81% of Ethereum's circulating supply.

The purchase highlights BitMine's aggressive accumulation strategy, championed by Chairman Tom Lee. Lee argues that cryptocurrencies, particularly Ethereum, are attracting institutional capital amid global economic uncertainty linked to geopolitical tensions and rising energy prices.
