F2Pool Founder Chun Wang Transfers $17M ETH from Binance to DeFi Protocol Spark
Chun Wang, founder of F2Pool, one of the world's largest Bitcoin and Ethereum mining pools, has made a significant on-chain move, withdrawing $17.27 million worth of Ethereum from Binance.
The transaction, which took place recently, saw 7,461 ETH being transferred out of a Binance wallet address. Shortly after, the same address deposited the entire amount into Spark, a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol.
This movement of funds from a centralized exchange to a DeFi platform is notable, as it suggests a strategic shift in asset management for F2Pool's founder. It indicates a preference for on-chain yield generation over holding assets in a cold wallet or selling them immediately.
