Ripple Partners with Kyobo Life Insurance for Blockchain-Based Bond Settlement

Ripple has partnered with Kyobo Life Insurance to pilot a blockchain-based tokenized government bond settlement in South Korea, aiming to compress the standard two-day settlement cycle into near real-time execution.

The partnership will also explore stablecoin-based payment rails using Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin, which is already listed on Korean exchange Coinone. This development marks Ripple's first deal with a Korean insurance institution and builds on its growing presence in the country's financial sector.
