Bitcoin Surges to Near $79K Amid ETF Inflows, USDT Expansion and Geopolitical Calm
Bitcoin's recent price surge to near $79,000 has been attributed to several key factors. Sustained net inflows into US spot Bitcoin ETFs have provided a significant boost to the market, with total assets under management surpassing $96.5 billion.
The expansion of Tether's USDT supply by around $5 billion has also injected fresh liquidity into crypto markets, helping to fuel on-chain activity and reduce selling pressure. This growth in USDT circulation has been the fastest since early 2025, signaling renewed capital entry into the market.
