However, researcher and XRPL validator Vet made it clear that this claim is based on an AI-generated search response from DTCC's Learning Center website.
The confusion arose when searching for 'XRP' returned an AI-generated summary titled 'XRP Haircut and Classification,' which stated that XRP is classified as a cryptocurrency. However, the cited source does not actually mention XRP.
Vet attributed this behavior to DTCC's use of Coveo's AI-powered enterprise search technology, which generates responses based on repeated searches. The XRP community had been searching for XRP in large numbers, prompting the AI to generate an answer.
