Bitcoin Lags Behind Stocks Amid Rising Interest Rates
Bitcoin's performance has been lagging behind that of the stock market, with its value dropping by 35% since it peaked against the Nasdaq-100 index almost a year ago.
This gap has grown to a 70-percentage-point discrepancy, the largest since March 2019, according to data compiled by CNBC.
Options volumes in key crypto equities are shifting bearish, with put volumes outpacing calls on Tuesday. In particular, options on Michael Saylor's Strategy and Coinbase have seen a significant increase in sell orders.
