XRP's Regulatory Clarity Fails to Attract Institutional Capital
The recent classification of XRP as a digital commodity by US regulators has brought forth both optimism and caution within the crypto community.
While this landmark decision provides much-needed legal clarity, it appears that institutional capital remains elusive. Despite the establishment of infrastructure for professional market participants and upcoming legislative deadlines, major financial players continue to tread cautiously around XRP.
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) have formalized a taxonomy for the crypto sector, designating XRP as a 'Digital Commodity.' This classification, however, has not yet translated into sustained price momentum or significant investment from institutional players.
