Chainlink's Data Standard Goes Live on Canton Blockchain

Chainlink's data standard has been integrated with the Canton network, a public blockchain purpose-built for institutional finance. This move is expected to accelerate the adoption of blockchain technology by regulated markets, providing them with the necessary tools to manage risks and verify assets in real-time.

Canton has been working closely with Chainlink to develop a suite of services that cater to the needs of institutional clients. These services include Data Streams, SmartData NAV and AUM feeds, and Proof of Reserve, which are now live on the network.

According to Canton, its network has processed over $8 trillion in on-chain RWAs since its mainnet launch in May 2024. The integration with Chainlink is expected to further increase this volume by providing real-time pricing, valuation, and collateral verification for institutional tokenization.
