Hayes' Cryptocurrency Portfolio Shows Divergent Trends Among Top Tokens

Arthur Hayes, Chief Investment Officer at Maelstrom Fund, has revealed his cryptocurrency holdings. His portfolio includes Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and two other tokens: Zcash (ZEC) and Hyperliquid (HYPE).

The year-to-date performance of these investments is starkly different. While Bitcoin and Ethereum have maintained relatively stable values, Zcash has plummeted 55% in value, a significant drop from its previous gains in 2025. On the other hand, Hyperliquid has seen an increase of 13% over the same period.

Hayes' prediction for Zcash is particularly notable. He had previously described it as 'Bitcoin with complete privacy', and forecasted it would reach a price of $10,000. However, the token's recent downturn suggests that this target may be difficult to achieve in the short term.
