Galaxy Digital Rides into Texas Tech with Red Raider Partnership

Galaxy Digital, a prominent crypto firm led by Mike Novogratz, has solidified its presence in college athletics through a partnership with Texas Tech's athletics department. The naming agreement grants Galaxy Digital the official AI and crypto partner status, making it the official data center and crypto partner of the athletics department.

Under the 15-year contract, the firm will rebrand Texas Tech's stadium as Galaxy Stadium starting from September 5, 2026, marking a new revenue stream for the institution. This partnership follows Ripple's similar agreement with the Kansas Jayhawks.

The deal extends beyond traditional naming rights to include Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) support for Red Raider student-athletes through branded activation campaigns and original content. Galaxy Digital will also provide high-impact branding, enhanced fan engagement, and community involvement across West Texas.
