Morgan Stanley Unveils Fee Details for Ethereum and Solana ETFs
Morgan Stanley has filed amended S-1 registration statements for its Ethereum and Solana ETFs, providing details on their fee structures and staking mechanisms.
The Morgan Stanley Ethereum Trust and Morgan Stanley Solana Trust would both charge a sponsor fee of 0.14% annually off the share in each fund's net asset value (NAV), charged daily and paid monthly.
The trusts can stake their Ethereum and Solana assets to earn more profit, with staking service providers and custodians collectively receiving 5% of the rewards as compensation, while 95% remains within the trusts.
The sponsor will not be entitled to any part of staking rewards in excess of the management fee, which could lead to higher earnings for investors compared to funds that do not stake their crypto assets.
