Ripple Joins Crypto ISAC Initiative to Combat State-Linked Hackers
Ripple has become a part of the Crypto ISAC initiative, contributing to the sharing of internal threat intelligence on North Korean hackers. This move marks a shift towards collaboration among crypto companies in responding to state-linked attacks.
The shared data includes high-confidence information on fraud-linked domains and suspected IT workers associated with North Korea. According to a report by TRM Labs, hackers linked to groups like Lazarus have used new tactics and stolen nearly $577 million through Drift Protocol and KelpDAO attacks.
