A recent development on the cryptocurrency platform Bitget has come to light, involving a significant short position in Bitcoin.

The 'Pension Whale' is behind this move, opening a short position consisting of 59 BTC between 09:34 and 09:42 UTC+8. This positions was valued at $4 million initially but now stands at $3.98 million due to the fluctuating market prices.

As per the current data available, the whale has accumulated a floating profit of approximately $18 thousand from this position. Moreover, it is reported that the Pension Whale also holds pending orders worth about $370 thousand.
