The study, which surveyed over 5,000 individuals across eight countries, found that those who personally hold crypto view it as a growth opportunity with strong upside potential.

The report also revealed that regulatory uncertainty is the primary barrier to broader institutional participation in the market. However, it was noted that hands-on experience and reliable market intelligence can build genuine conviction among investors.

Interestingly, the study found that optimism and confidence rise in line with active participation, peaking among institutional investors and long-term holders. In contrast, beginners remain the least certain about crypto's future prospects.
