XRP Community Warned About Scammers Sending Fake NFTs

XRP Ledger developer Wietse Wind has issued an alert to the XRP community regarding scams targeting wallet holders.

The scammers send fake NFTs with the intent of making an offer to unsuspecting victims to trade something in return. The scammer copies or duplicates and mints from another wallet to offer to users for sale, often with fake offers of 'passes' or NFTs.

Wind urges XRP holders to cancel such offers and never engage or accept. As fake NFT offers proliferate, users are advised to exercise caution and verify wallet addresses of artists and projects before accepting any offer.
