Hayes Denies Hyperliquid Buyback Amid Token Price Surge

Arthur Hayes, the co-founder of BitMEX, has denied buying back a significant amount of Hyperliquid (HYPE) tokens after selling his entire position in the token just days prior.

A blockchain analytics platform, Lookonchain, linked a wallet allegedly owned by Hayes to a transaction that withdrew $2.09 million worth of HYPE tokens from Bybit.

Hayes responded on X, stating 'I didn't buy sh*t.'
