Bitcoin Price Drops to 2-Year Low as Investors Eye Recovery
Bitcoin's price has dropped to nearly $64,000 in US dollar terms, its lowest point in two years. This decline from an all-time high of $126,000 in October 2025 is significant, with a nearly 50% drop over the past few months.
Crypto investors have been waiting for a recovery signal, and some are now saying it may finally be here. High-profile fund manager Cathie Wood has suggested that Bitcoin is in recovery mode, but warns of a volatile path ahead.
When it comes to investing in Bitcoin, two popular options are the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) and the VanEck Bitcoin ETF (HODL). While both offer direct exposure to Bitcoin's price, they have different characteristics that may make one more attractive than the other depending on your investment goals.
The iShares trust has a higher expense ratio of 0.25%, but offers massive scale and liquidity for investors. The VanEck fund, on the other hand, has an expense ratio of 0.20% and provides direct spot Bitcoin exposure with slightly lower ongoing costs.
