Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF Outflows Continue for Eighth Consecutive Week

Bitcoin and Ethereum spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have continued to experience significant outflows, with investors withdrawing over $526 million from Bitcoin ETFs alone in a single week. This marks the eighth consecutive week of capital leaving these financial instruments.

According to SoSoValue analytics, during the period from June 29 to July 3, Bitcoin ETFs experienced an outflow of $231.10 million on June 29, followed by another large outflow of $222.64 million on June 30 and $294.62 million on July 1. However, a capital inflow of $221.72 million on the final trading day was not enough to offset the previous outflows.

Over the last eight weeks, more than $8.2 billion has been withdrawn from Bitcoin ETFs, with Ethereum-based funds also experiencing significant outflows. In contrast, spot ETFs for altcoins such as XRP, Solana (SOL), HYPE, and Chainlink (LINK) ended the week with a net capital inflow.
