XRP Network Activity Slumps by 85% Since 2024 Peak
According to recent on-chain analytics from Glassnode, the XRP blockchain has experienced a substantial decline in metrics related to activity and adoption.
The number of new addresses joining the network each day has dropped by 85% since its peak in December 2024, with only 2,700 new addresses currently being added daily. Similarly, the monthly active supply has plummeted from 7.45 billion tokens to just 2 billion, a level lower than even the lows of the 2022 bear market.
The data suggests that the speculative wave driving XRP's late-2024 surge has largely unwound at the network level. While it is unclear if this trend will persist or if another shift will arrive, one thing is certain: the XRP network is currently experiencing a period of relative quiet.
