Crypto.com Sues Customer Over 'Crofam' Trademarks
Crypto.com has filed a lawsuit against one of its customers, accusing him of fraudulently obtaining trademarks for 'Crofam' and '#Crofam', which the company uses to promote popular cryptocurrency Cronos.
The trading platform claims that Nathan Steele, founder of Crofam.com LLC, misrepresented his company's use of these marks when applying for them, despite Crypto.com using them extensively before Steele formed his company.
Crypto.com asserts multiple claims against Steele and Crofam.com, including unfair competition, common law trademark infringement, and counterfeiting.
