Kiyosaki Warns of Economic Crisis, Predicts 'Greatest Depression' for Boomer Retirees
Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, has sounded the alarm on an impending economic crisis, warning that 2026 could bring the 'greatest depression in world history'. This prediction comes on the heels of his previous warnings about the bursting of the 'Everything Bubble'.
Kiyosaki's concern is not limited to a broad market crash. He also highlights the vulnerability of millions of American boomers approaching retirement, who may face significant financial difficulties. According to Kiyosaki, this crisis has been building for decades, with the shift from traditional defined-benefit plans to defined-contribution plans such as 401(k)s leaving workers with more responsibility for funding their own retirements.
Kiyosaki advocates for diversifying assets with precious metals and cryptocurrencies as a hedge against market volatility. He recommends investing in gold, silver, Bitcoin, and Ethereum, citing his distrust of the fiat currency system and his belief that these assets offer a safe-haven from economic uncertainty.
