Morgan Stanley's Bitcoin ETF Filing Sends Ripples Through Market
Morgan Stanley has filed an amended registration outlining its proposed low-fee bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF), which could challenge BlackRock's dominance in the market.
The ETF, called the Morgan Stanley Bitcoin Trust, will have a fee structure of 0.14% for its spot bitcoin product, making it the cheapest on the market.
Analysts believe this move may influence adviser allocations and drive inflows, as Morgan Stanley's adviser network controls trillions in assets that could drive substantial demand for the ETF.
