Ripple CEO Backs CLARITY Act, Sees High Chance of Passage

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has reaffirmed his support for the U.S. CLARITY Act, a market structure bill aimed at clarifying regulatory guidelines for the crypto industry.

In an interview, Garlinghouse emphasized the importance of regulatory certainty for both traditional financial institutions and the crypto industry. He believes that enacting the legislation is essential for protecting American consumers and aligning the financial system with their interests.

Garlinghouse also expressed confidence in the legislative timeline, stating there's an 80-90% chance the bill will pass by April 2026. He warned against delay, arguing that clearer rules are better than ongoing regulatory uncertainty.
