LayerZero's ZRO Token Unlocks $20M Worth of Tokens This Week

LayerZero's ZRO token is set to unlock a significant portion of its supply this week. On July 20, 2026, approximately 25.71 million ZRO tokens will become available, valued at around $19.98 million at current prices.

The unlock splits between Strategic Partners and Core Contributors, with the former receiving about 13 million ZRO tokens worth around $10.55 million and the latter getting roughly 10.63 million ZRO tokens valued at approximately $8.62 million.

This represents about 2.36% of ZRO's total supply of 1 billion tokens and accounts for approximately 4.6% of what's currently in circulation.

LayerZero is an omnichain interoperability protocol that enables different blockchains to communicate with each other, having launched its 'Zero' blockchain specifically aimed at institutional clients in February 2026, backed by Citadel Securities.
