Cryptocurrency Market Suffers Significant Losses as Bitcoin and Altcoins Fall

The recent drop in the cryptocurrency market is causing concern among investors as it has seen a significant loss of value. Bitcoin's price has fallen to $68,807, down 5.19%, while Ethereum is trading at $2,005, barely holding above the psychological level of $2,000.

Other major coins are also experiencing losses, with Solana dropping 6.47% and XRP down 4.50%. The total crypto market has lost $87 billion in value over the past 24 hours, which is roughly 3.58% since yesterday.

The decline of altcoins is particularly notable as they are falling faster and further than Bitcoin. This is a common pattern in the cryptocurrency market where when confidence is high, altcoins tend to outperform, but when fear takes over, money flows back to Bitcoin first, then out of crypto entirely.
