Cryptocurrency Prices Plummet as US-Iran Negotiations Stall

The value of cryptocurrencies around the world fell sharply on Saturday evening after US-Iran negotiations failed to yield any progress.

The US and Iranian negotiators met for a day-long session in Pakistan but were unable to come to an agreement. The US had insisted that Iran would not seek a nuclear weapon, which was a key sticking point in the talks.

BTC fell by 1.86% to $71,625.33, while Ethereum (ETH) dropped to around $2,200 and XRP slid to $1.33. The CoinDesk 20 index also saw a decline of 1.88%.
