Binance Prepares EU Service Suspension Amid MiCA Compliance Push
Binance, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges globally, is preparing to suspend its services for users operating within the European Union (EU).
This move comes after Binance withdrew its application for a crypto asset service provider license in Greece and announced plans to restructure operations according to EU regulations, specifically the Crypto Asset Market Regulation (MiCA).
The temporary operating permit granted by the EU will expire on July 1st, creating time pressure for large platforms like Binance. As a result, the company may temporarily suspend some services until obtaining necessary regulatory approvals.
