Tether's WDK Surpasses 100K Self-Custodial Wallets, Developer Portal Launches

Tether's Wallet Development Kit (WDK) has reached an impressive milestone of over 100,000 self-custodial wallets. This achievement comes as Tether continues to expand its reach in the digital asset industry by providing wallet infrastructure.

The WDK is an open-source toolkit that enables developers to build multi-chain self-custodial wallets, allowing users to retain control of their private keys. With support for major networks such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, TON, and TRON, the toolkit addresses a longstanding challenge in the crypto industry by reducing the need for separate integrations across different blockchains.
