Saylor: Bitcoin Near 200-Week Average After Major Drawdown
Michael Saylor, founder of MicroStrategy and a prominent Bitcoin advocate, spoke at BTC Prague about the future potential of the digital currency. He emphasized that after a 50% drawdown, Bitcoin is now near its 200-week moving average.
Saylor highlighted the significance of 17 years of infrastructure buildout for Bitcoin and its potential to reach $100T in value. Under his guidance, MicroStrategy has seen tremendous growth, scaling from an enterprise value of approximately $600M to peaks near $120B by anchoring corporate balance sheets to bitcoin-backed credit and equity products.
In addition to discussing the financial aspects, Saylor mentioned plans to pair AI with digital assets for new yield instruments offering 6-8% returns in major currencies at near-zero volatility. He also emphasized the importance of education through saylor.org, which provides free resources on cryptocurrency adoption.
