Binance Places Monitoring Tags on Nine Cryptocurrencies

Binance, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has added monitoring tags to nine cryptocurrencies on its platform. These assets have been identified as carrying a higher risk than usual due to factors such as low liquidity, weak development activity, or high volatility.

The affected tokens include Contentos (COS), Dego Finance (DEGO), Ampleforth Governance Token (FORTH), FUNToken (FUN), and Hooked Protocol (HOOK). Other assets with monitoring tags are Loopring (LRC), MOBOX (MBOX), Orchid (OXT), and dogwifhat (WIF).

The monitoring tags are not a guarantee of delisting, but rather an opportunity for the projects to improve and meet Binance's listing standards. However, once an asset is tagged, it can create short-term bearish pressure on its price due to investor fear of potential future delisting.
