Gate Expands European Payment Services with Malta License

Gate Technology Ltd., a Malta-based entity, has achieved a significant regulatory milestone by obtaining a Payment Institution license from the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA). This license, issued under the EU's Second Payment Services Directive (PSD2), grants Gate passporting rights to offer payment services throughout the European Union.

With this approval, Gate strengthens its position as a bridge between traditional finance and Web3 infrastructure. The company can now deliver scalable payment solutions across Europe, aligning with MiCA regulations while creating a seamless connection between legacy finance and digital assets.
