Ethereum Foundation Stakes Over $140 Million Worth of ETH
The Ethereum Foundation has made significant progress in achieving its staking goals, with over $140 million worth of ETH tokens now locked up in the Eth2 Beacon Chain deposit contract. According to on-chain data, the organization has staked around 69,500 ETH in less than two months, bringing it close to its target of 70,000 tokens.
While the Ethereum Foundation's efforts have boosted sustainability and encouraged research and development, analysts have warned that a drop below $2,000 could lead to a significant market correction. Popular analyst Ted Pillows noted that ETH needs to decisively break above the $2,100-$2,150 resistance level for a bigger upside move.
Despite the sluggishness in the current range, some analysts remain optimistic about the potential for an upward movement. Crypto Tony has predicted 'wicks this weekend,' which could potentially be to the upside.
