Young Americans Pessimistic About Economy Amid Rising Concerns

A recent survey by Generation Lab has revealed a bleak outlook among Americans aged 18-34 regarding the current state of the economy.

The poll, which sampled over 1,000 respondents between April 26 and 29, found that only 2% rated the economy as 'excellent', while 52% considered it to be 'bad' and 29% deemed it 'terrible'. The sentiment held across age brackets, with 84% of 18-24-year-olds rating conditions as bad or terrible.

The blame for poor economic conditions was largely attributed to President Trump, with 41% of respondents assigning responsibility to him. Corporate greed was also cited as a contributing factor, particularly among younger respondents. The findings suggest that despite pro-crypto policies implemented by the administration, young Americans remain pessimistic about the economy.

The survey's results are significant given the current economic climate, which is marked by rising inflation and concerns about a potential recession. The pressure on President Trump to address these issues remains intense, with 77% of respondents expressing disapproval over the US's military action against Iran.
