The US-Iran peace talks have been hit with fresh uncertainty as President Donald Trump cancels the planned envoy trip to Pakistan.

According to reports, Trump told his team not to make an 18-hour flight for the meeting, citing confusion within Iran's leadership and suggesting that Iran could call the United States if it wanted to talk.

The decision has added geopolitical risk back into market focus, causing Bitcoin price to drop below $78K. The cryptocurrency fell from around $78,000 during the session and moved near $77,200.
