Stock Market Crash Looms: Expert Warns of Potential Oil Supply Shock Impact
A leading financial analyst has predicted a potential stock market crash due to an ongoing oil supply shock, similar to the 1973 crisis.
The analyst, known as Doctor Profit, points out that the current situation is more severe than in 1973, with around 20% of global oil demand impacted for two months. He notes that during the 1973 oil embargo, a 5-7% cut-off led to a significant market crash.
According to the expert, investors are currently underestimating the severity of the crisis, assuming that things will return to normal once the issue is resolved. However, this is not likely to happen, and the damage to the economy, inflation, higher input costs, and broken consumer confidence have already been done.
The analyst suggests that crypto prices may rally instead of stocks during this period, as investors seek safe-haven assets such as gold and silver. He also highlights the importance of owning these metals as a hedge against potential market volatility.
