Hoskinson Sees $10 Trillion Crypto Market, Predicts One Billion Users by 2030
Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has expressed confidence in the long-term growth of cryptocurrency, despite recent market downturns. He predicts that the industry will eventually reach a valuation of $10 trillion or more.
Hoskinson argues that minor drawdowns carry little significance compared to the industry's overall trajectory, which he believes is firmly upward. The Cardano founder points out that around 550 million people currently participate in crypto markets worldwide and predicts this number could climb to one billion users by 2030.
He also expects a substantial portion of global financial assets, including stocks, bonds, and equities, to migrate onto blockchain-based infrastructure over the next several years. Hoskinson suggests that cryptocurrencies could eventually serve as the standard unit for pricing goods, services, and financial assets, reducing reliance on traditional fiat currencies.
