F2Pool Co-Founder Wang Chun Stakes Large ETH Position Amid Market Weakness
F2Pool Co-Founder Wang Chun has accumulated a significant position in Ethereum after its price dipped below $1,700. Over a 15-day period, he withdrew 54,500 ETH from Binance, valued at approximately $93.25 million.
The move began shortly after the price of ether fell below the psychological $1,700 support level, signaling a vote of confidence in Ethereum's long-term prospects. This accumulation is notable because F2Pool's primary business is Bitcoin mining infrastructure, yet Chun has chosen to deploy significant capital into Ethereum's proof-of-stake ecosystem.
The majority of the withdrawn ETH was staked by Chun, reducing the circulating supply and indicating a commitment to holding the position for months or longer. This behavior has historically preceded price appreciation in the cryptocurrency market.
