Trust Wallet Agents: Enabling AI-Powered Crypto Applications

Trust Wallet has continued its push into the realm of artificial intelligence (AI) with the release of the Trust Wallet Agent Kit. This developer toolkit enables AI agents to carry out wallet-connected actions, such as trading, staking, and moving funds autonomously.

The kit provides two models for developers to connect AI to crypto activity. The first model involves creating a dedicated wallet for AI agent activity, where users can set permissions and boundaries in advance for automations such as dollar-cost averaging (DCA) and limit-based strategies. This setup works similarly to giving an employee a company payment card with a spending limit.

The second model allows AI agents to connect to existing user wallets through WalletConnect, propose transactions, and leave the final approval to the user. This approach keeps custody with the user throughout while still enabling more interactive AI-driven workflows.
